Back in February, Liverpool and Tottenham were both linked with a move for Serge Gnabry, the Bayern Munich forward who was sold by Arsenal.

It was Sky Germany who revealed that Jürgen Klopp wants to sign the Germany international, whereas BILD claimed that Spurs are keen.

Now, Gnabry has uploaded an image which will get people talking, specifically Tottenham fans…

What’s the story?

Well, the £115,000-a-week man posted a photo of himself wearing a vintage Arsenal shirt, as he clearly continues to hold his former club close to his heart.

Now, that may give Spurs fans mixed feelings about signing him, given the bitter rivalry between the two north London clubs.

Arsenal are yet to be linked with a move for their former attacker, although after he released the image, the Gunners would be silly not to at least make a bid.

Gnabry is out of contract at Bayern Munich in 2023, and contract talks aren’t exactly running smoothly.

Therefore, the 26-year-old may even be sold this summer, or else the German giants risk losing him for nothing in 2023.

Tottenham should overlook the Liverpool target’s love for Arsenal

Gnabry has even claimed that north London is red before, so he’s not the most popular man among Tottenham fans.

However, if Spurs have a real possibility of signing him, they have to overlook his ties to Arsenal and make a move.

Gnabry is too good to be ignored for a reason like that.

The Stuttgart-born forward has scored 12 goals in 33 games this season, while also providing nine assists.

Overall, Gnabry boasts a superb record for Bayern Munich, netting 59 goals in 159 appearances.

His record for Germany is also incredible – Gnabry has scored 20 goals in 31 outings for the national team.

He is, without doubt, one of Europe’s best forwards – keep an eye on this saga, as he could soon be returning to the Premier League.
