Tottenham Hotspur are allegedly keen on a shock move for Bayern Munich’s former Arsenal attacker Serge Gnabry.

All the talks around Tottenham today will be surrounding Antonio Conte, and that’s no surprise after his stunning comments last night.

Fabio Paratici will be praying that Conte stays, but he also has to think about summer transfers too – even less than a month since the January window ended.

One shock link emerged on Wednesday as Bild reported that Tottenham have ‘knocked’ on the door for Bayern ace Gnabry.

Gnabry is out of contract in 2023 and talks with Bayern over a new deal allegedly aren’t going too well right now.

Gnabry, branded ‘world class’ by Rio Ferdinand, is understood to love London and Chelsea are rivalling Tottenham in the race.

Yet if Tottenham do secure an ambitious deal for Gnabry, fans may expect him to change his views on North London.

Back in 2019, Bayern absolutely demolished Tottenham with a 7-2 Champions League victory.

The hero of the night was Gnabry, who smashed four goals in a quite remarkable second-half performance.

After that game, Gnabry took to Twitter to post a quite simply tweet; ‘North London is Red’.

Bayern were of course playing in red that night, but it seemed pretty clear that Gnabry was also factoring Arsenal into his message.

Gnabry spent five years at Arsenal but wasn’t quite able to break through with the Gunners before returning to Germany.

Gnabry still seemingly holds Arsenal in high regard though, and Tottenham would hope that signing Gnabry would help them not only claim North London as theirs, but also nail down a top four place.
