According to Bild, Tottenham are interested in signing Liverpool target Serge Gnabry, who was sold by Arsenal back in 2016.
What’s the story?
Well, this would be quite the move for Tottenham, one which would break Arsenal and Liverpool hearts if it materialised.
It was Sky Germany who revealed that Liverpool are interested in signing the £115,000-a-week man.
Now, they face competition from Spurs, in what looks set to be an entertaining battle to bring Gnabry back to the Premier League.
Bild state that the Germany international is struggling to agree a new contract with Bayern Munich, with his current terms set to expire in June 2023.
Therefore, if the Bundesliga champions fail to sell him this year, then they could lose him for nothing in 2023 if a new contract isn’t agreed.
So far this season, the Bayern Munich No.7 has scored 12 goals in 31 appearances, while also providing nine assists.
Tottenham or Liverpool could embarrass Arsenal

Many people wonder why Arsene Wenger sold Gnabry to Werder Bremen back in 2016.
The 26-year-old has gone on to become one of the best forwards in Europe, and has impressively scored 59 goals in 157 games for Bayern Munich.
Gnabry also has an excellent record for Germany, scoring 20 goals in 31 outings.

If Tottenham or Liverpool signed him, and he went on to replicate these numbers in the Premier League, it would be quite embarrassing for Arsenal, to say the least.
Keep an eye on this saga, as contract talks between Gnabry and Bayern Munich continue to stall at the Allianz Arena.
