The former Millwall boss is back at Loftus Road for a second spell in charge of Queens Park Rangers.
Despite expecting big improvements this season under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Queens Park Rangers have once again found themselves at the wrong end of the table.
Parting ways with the Dutchman at the end of last year, QPR have turned to former boss Ian Holloway to save the Hoops from a potential relegation battle.
But is Holloway the right man for the club? The former Millwall boss was a popular figure when he was at the helm between 2001 and 2006, and now comes back with a number of promotions under his belt.
However, he also holds relegations, both from the Premier League and the Championship, and his appointment has split opinion among QPR fans and wider football fans in general.
So how do QPR fans feel about Holloway’s return? Is he the right man at the right time? Or a desperate role of the dice? HITC Sport went to meet fans to gather their thoughts…

“Definitely…absolutely” was the reply from one QPR fan, who was adamant that Ian Holloway was the right man for the job. “No one can doubt the passion he’s got for the club, he bleeds blue and white.”
“He’s got the club at heart, he’s passionate about the club” added another, “there’s nothing more you can ask for from a manager.” Other than points, right QPR fans?
“He’s a top man, a QPR man through a through” added another fan, whereas others mentioned what a massive difference it is making to have a manager who seems to genuinely care about the club.
“If the fans can feel the same amount of passion as the manager, then it brings that extra kick” someone added.
