Paul Merson has written in The Daily Star that Leeds United winger Raphinha is good enough to play for Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
The former Arsenal and Aston Villa star made the comments while giving his take on the players Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa has improved.
The Sky Sports pundit wrote: “Kalvin Phillips is very good and has blossomed under Bielsa and Raphina could play for anybody you want to name and I’d include the likes of Man City and Chelsea in that.”
Superb footballer
Raphinha has been superb for Leeds and has established himself as one of the best and most important players in the Whites’ team.
The winger scores goals, creates chances and works hard for the team.
The Leeds no. 10 has scored three goals in seven Premier League appearances for Leeds so far this season.
The winger scored six goals and provided nine assists in 26 league starts last season.

There is no credible reports yet that Chelsea or City want Raphinha, although some Leeds fans are worried that there will be bids for the winger.
The 24-year-old made his debut for Brazil against Venezuela overnight and was the star of the show.
Raphinha came on as a substitute and provided two assists to help Brazil to a 3-1 win.
