Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Raphinha’s debut performance for Brazil and are concerned that he will attract a lot of interest now.
What’s the story?
Raphinha was in action for Brazil against Venezuela in their 2022 World Cup qualifier overnight.
It was the 24-year-old winger’s debut for Brazil.
The former Rennes star did not start the match, but he came on as a substitute.
Brazil were 1-0 down at that stage.
They eventually won 3-1.
Raphinha was the star of the show after coming on and helped his team to the win.
The winger took a free kick which Chelsea central defender Thiago Silva headed home, but it was ruled out for offside.

Then on 71 minutes, Raphinha delivered a corner that Marquinhos headed home to make it 1-1.
The Leeds winger was then involved in the penalty that Brazil got and successfully converted.
Raphinha bagged his second assist of the match in injury time when he teed up Antony for Brazil’s third goal.
What are Leeds United fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Leeds fans were impressed by the performance of Raphinha on his debut for Brazil.
Well, some of them anyway.

However, they are also concerned that such great performances on the international stage will only attract suitors for the winger.
The Leeds star has actually been linked with moves away already.
The Independent reported in September that Liverpool have been monitoring Raphinha since 2016 and remain interested in him.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
