Leeds United’s transfer window could’ve been an absolute disaster.

The Whites lost their two best players this summer in the shape of Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips, and there was so much pressure on Victor Orta and Co to reinvest wisely.

Luckily for Leeds, the backroom team have done just that.

New signings such as Tyler Adams, Brenden Aaronson and Luis Sinisterra have hit the ground running and there could yet be more to come as Leeds lack some serious depth up front.

With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Leeds’ post-Deadline Day starting XI.

Leeds' potential post-deadline day XI

We actually think that Leeds could go out and make two new signings on Deadline Day.

Hwang Hee-Chan has been strongly linked in recent weeks, and while Leeds have been hesitant to pull the trigger on a new striker signing so far, an injury to Rodrigo may force Orta into action.

Meanwhile, we’re also tipping long-term target Cody Gakpo to arrive from PSV after Andrea Radrizzani liked a tweet about that rumoured move on Wednesday morning.

Usually, we wouldn’t put too much weight into those types of social media hints, but Radrizzani has been known to leak transfers in this was previously, so don’t be surprised if there is some real weight behind this one.

As you can see, Gakpo lines up alongside Luis Sinisterra on the wings in our team, but that isn’t to say that Jack Harrison will be dropped as these three are all likely to rotate throughout the season.

Meanwhile, with both Fulham and Tottenham circling, we’re expecting Daniel James to depart on Deadline Day just one year on from joining the West Yorkshire club.
