France are now the favorites to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup

With France registering a spot in the semifinals, we’re one step closer to finding the next world champions of soccer.

In fact, according to the latest predictions from Opta’s super computer, France are now in the driving seat of the competition and the favorites to lift the iconic trophy.

The latest odds show France having a 37.46% to win the champs, followed in by Spain at 18.90% and Argentina at 15.89%. England round up the top four with a 15.52% chance of winning it all.

Considering just one of the four quarterfinal games has been played, the predictions are bound to change, but it’s hard to pick a better team than France to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup based on what fans have seen so far in the tournament.
