Slavisa Jokanovic told Sheffield United’s official YouTube channel that reported Tottenham and Arsenal target, Aaron Ramsdale, is ‘one of the best’ goalkeepers in England.
The 23-year-old is a seemingly wanted man with Tottenham and their North London rivals Arsenal are also keen on bringing his talents to the Premier League this summer.
Even though Ramsdale has suffered back-to-back relegations – he is still someone who is highly thought of and that’s proven by the fact that he is currently with England on national duty at Euro 2020.
Jokanovic, who was appointed Sheffield United boss this summer, reacted to those rumours about Ramsdale’s future involving the North London duo and he made it clear that he wants his ‘best players’ on board.
“I have one of the best ‘keepers in England,” said Jokanovic. “So I want one of the best ones to be here with us.
“Again, I will have the chance to it down with them and that’s what I will say.
“I always want my best players to be here with me. I haven’t had the chance yet but, when I do, I will sit down with both of them and let them know what my feelings are. I will tell the same as I have just told you.”

The number of advantages Arsenal and Spurs have is that they can offer Ramsdale Premier League football.
But it does seem as though the Englishman does have intentions of trying to help the Blades return to the promised land at the first time of asking.
That would be some form of commitment from the £19 million player (BBC Sport) and also a risk because not only would he be turning down Premier League football.
But given that he is playing in the Championship, he might also lose his all-important England spot.
