Liverpool and Tottenham are both said to be interested in signing Randal Kolo Muani – a striker Thierry Henry loves.
What’s the story?
Well, the Reds or Spurs could have signed the France international on a free transfer after his contract at Nantes expired at the end of last season.
However, Eintracht Frankfurt struck a pre-contract agreement with Muani, and his stock has risen significantly since making the move to Germany.
The 24-year-old has remarkably scored eight goals while also assisting a further 11 in just 23 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt, including two match-winning strikes in the Champions League to help the Bundesliga side reach the Round of 16.
Muani’s efforts even resulted in him earning a shock call-up to France’s World Cup squad, after Christopher Nkunku suffered an injury just before the tournament began.

Now, Liverpool and Tottenham have been alerted by his outstanding displays – according to Foot Mercato.
If Jürgen Klopp or Antonio Conte manage to sign Muani, the deal would come with Henry’s approval.
Thierry Henry loves Liverpool & Tottenham target
The Arsenal legend often works as a pundit for Amazon Prime when covering Ligue 1 games, and he was left impressed by Muani after the Frenchman scored a fantastic goal for Nantes against Angers SCO back in September 2021.
Henry shouted out “Nwankwo Kanu!” after seeing Muani’s fantastic solo goal, comparing him to his old Arsenal teammate who became famed for scoring spectacular strikes.
The 45-year-old added: “Oh yes, I like it a lot. I always say, you’ve got the ball, don’t panic. He didn’t panic. Well done. I am really happy for Nantes.”
Given the fact Muani has a contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until June 2027, Liverpool and Tottenham face paying a huge fee – according to Foot Mercato, he will cost at least €60m (£50m).
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as that figure could even increase if Muani continues to shine in Germany.
