According to FootMercato, Liverpool are monitoring Randal Kolo Muani once again after missing out on his signature earlier this year.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time the Reds have been linked with the French striker.
Indeed, Liverpool reportedly looked at the 24-year-old earlier this year as his Nantes contract was running down and despite some intense negotiations, they failed to secure his signature.
Since then though, the Frenchman has kicked on massively.

He has five Bundesliga goals to his name this season, but that isn’t the most impressive part.
His nine assists make him the most effective creative force in Germany this season, but, as you can imagine, his price has rocketed.
While Liverpool could have had him for absolutely nothing in the summer, he’s now set to cost at least €60m (£50m), with this report speculating that the price could reach as high as €80m.
He does seem like the perfect replacement for Roberto Firmino at Liverpool as a creative striker who can feed the wingers that often run beyond him, and with Firmino’s contract expiring at the end of the season, this could be the move that Liverpool opt for.
Unfortunately for the Reds, they’re not the only team keen on this young man.
Tottenham Hotspur are also taking a real look at the striker, and with Harry Kane’s contract entering its final 18 months, one has to imagine that Spurs are looking for contingency plans for if Kane decides to ultimately look for pastures new.
Kolo Muani has been one of the breakout stars of this season, and a Premier League move beckons for the 24-year-old ace.
