Nottingham Forest now want to sign Tottenham target Dominik Livakovic – who Chelsea scouted at the World Cup.
What’s the story?
Well, Steve Cooper is said to be keen on bringing the Croatia international to the City Ground – according to Germanijak.
It comes after Ben Jacobs of CBS Sports claimed that Spurs are hoping to sign Livakovic as well.
Media Foot added that Chelsea scouted the 28-year-old in Qatar during the World Cup, as his excellent performances help Croatia finish third.
Germanijak believe Dinamo Zagreb are hoping to receive €10m (£9m) for their No.40 this month, with the shot-stopper set to have just 12 months remaining on his contract at the end of the season.
However, Nottingham Forest are only prepared to offer €8m (£7m).

Cooper is seemingly planning for life after Dean Henderson, with the currently injured England international set to return to Manchester United at the end of the current campaign when his loan ends.
Livakovic has made 28 appearances so far this season, including six Champions League outings, while also playing every minute for Croatia at the World Cup, keeping two clean sheets.
Nottingham Forest must pay up for Tottenham & Chelsea target
In our view, a £9m asking price for Livakovic is more than reasonable – Nottingham Forest must pay up with Henderson set to return to Old Trafford in the summer.
The Croatia international was utterly fantastic in Qatar, proving to be a colossus in between the sticks as he managed to frustrate the likes of Neymar and Romelu Lukaku in wins over Brazil and Belgium.
If Nottingham Forest refuse to pay £9m for Livakovic, we’re sure Tottenham would, especially as Hugo Lloris is turning 37 this year and is in need of replacing.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as the Croatian could be moving to England this month.
