A round up of transfer news involving Newcastle United over the past 24 hours.
Lejeune is said to have arrived on Tyneside today (Monday), with his £8.7 million move due to be sealed on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old former Manchester City man will become Rafa Benitez’s second summer signing after former Magpies loans star Cristian Atsu.

And his arrival could spark a departure from St James’ Park with Sheffield Wednesday poised to meet Newcastle’s £5.5 million asking price for Grant Hanley, according to The Mirror.
The Owls are looking to strengthen their centre-back options and wanted the Scotland international a year ago.
Elsewhere, The Sun reports that Newcastle have enquired about Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone.
Capped four times by England, 30-year-old Huddlestone is said to be available for as little as £2 million, due to a relegation clause in his contract.

One midfielder the Magpies won’t be signing, however, is Fulham’s Tom Cairney, who has signed a contract extension which ties him to the London side until 2021.
And finally, young Newcastle goalkeeper Freddie Woodman was a target for League One Peterborough United this summer, before they signed Jonathan Bond instead.
“We were looking at him (Bond) and the young Newcastle goalkeeper (Woodman), as well,” Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony told the club’s Youtube channel.
