Reported Leeds United and West Ham United target Nahitan Nandez has told Centotrentuno that he has not made a decision on his future yet.
Leeds United and West Ham interest
According to L’Unione Sarda in June, Nandez is ready to leave Cagliari for Leeds in the summer transfer window.
La Nuova Sardegna reported last month that Leeds are ready to pay the Uruguay international’s release clause of €36 million (£30.91 million).
In May, we covered a report here on HITC Sport from Corriere dello Sport claiming that West Ham are keen on the midfielder.
What Nahitan Nandez has said
Nandez is away on international duty with Uruguay.
The Copa America is in full swing, and the Cagliari star is focused on that.
When asked about speculation linking him with Leeds, Nandez told Centotrentuno: “The rumours about Leeds? I heard, but honestly I don’t know anything yet and I have my head in the Copa América and in reaching the goal.”

Hope for West Ham United?
Recent speculation has suggested that Nandez is on his way to Leeds.
However, the midfielder’s comments show that a decision has yet to be made.
There is still a chance that West Ham could sign the 25-year-old.
Of course, no transfer is going to happen as long as Uruguay are involved in the Copa America.
But, West Ham, if they are keen on the 25-year-old midfielder, should make their move now.
