Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on the future of Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have struck an agreement with Bologna for the signing of Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori with the Euro 2024 star given permission to undergo his medical.
Whilst incomings have been few and far between for Arsenal, the signing of Calafiori for around £38 million may well mean that the Gunners look to outgoings next.
Emile Smith Rowe looks to be the name who is closing in on an exit from the club with HITC reporting Fulham had upped their offer to £35 million for the Englishman.
However, two more names could follow him out the door.

Arteta provides Nelson and Nketiah transfer update
Arsenal could be set to bank more money this summer as the futures of Reiss Nelson and striker Eddie Nketiah remain unclear.
Speaking to Football.London following Arsenal’s 1-1 draw against Bournemouth in Los Angeles, Arteta was asked about the future of the English pair.
“A lot of players are being linked with potential moves,” Arteta conceded. “One way or the other. It’s normal.
“What I really like are the players that we have, the levels that they are showing. Especially the commitment, you can see it today just talking about those two the way they performed.
Nketiah made 27 Premier League appearances, 10 of these were starts, scoring five goals and providing two assists.
As for Nelson, the winger featured in 15 Premier League games, starting just once for the Gunners in the league.
Nketiah and Nelson potentially on their way out this summer
HITC had reported that Nketiah had agreed personal terms over a move to French giants Marseille but the Gunners have slapped a £50 million price tag on the forward’s head.
Marseille have recently completed the signing of Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood but the French sides are seemingly not done there.
As for Nelson, Arsenal are understood to be willing to allow the winger to depart the Emirates Stadium this summer but want £25 million.
West Ham United are understood to be interested in Nelson this summer as talks with the player’s camp are understood to be progressing well.
