Chris Sutton has predicted on BBC Sport that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur will lose to Graham Potter’s Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League this weekend.

The former Chelsea striker believes that the Blues will pick up all three points from the London derby courtesy of a 2-1 win.

Tottenham and Chelsea will face each other in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Blues are really struggling under manager Graham Potter at the moment and look unlikely to finish in the top four.

Tottenham have been inconsistent so far this season, but the North London club are still very much in the race for the UEFA Champions League places in the league table.

Chris Sutton predicts Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea

Sutton wrote: “What a game this is. Chelsea’s record against Tottenham is excellent – they have won more Premier League games against them than any other opponents (33), and have taken 20 points from the past 24 available in this fixture, but it all counts for little here.”

The pundit added: “This Chelsea team just can’t score goals though, while Tottenham are doing all right at the moment, with the old Harry Kane and Son Heung-min double act working again.

“It all points to a Tottenham win but they have been very inconsistent – or ‘Spursy’ – this season and I just have a feeling this might be the day where things go Potter’s way for once.”

A footnote added: “Sutton’s prediction: 1-2”.

Who will win?

In our view, Tottenham Hotspur will not lose to Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the London derby.

Now, Chelsea do have a good team and some brilliant players, but results and performances under Potter have been poor.

That is bound to change at some point, but not against Chelsea.

Now, Chelsea could well pick up a point from the London derby, but we do not see Tottenham dropping all three points in front of their own fans.
