Leeds United are, once again, embroiled in the relegation battle, and sadly for the Whites, their fixture list isn’t too favourable.
The Yorkshire club face the reigning European champions, Chelsea, next week, but before that there’s the small matter of overcoming Arsenal at the Emirates.
The Gunners have been in fine form as of late, beating Chelsea, Manchester United and West Ham, but the London club have struggled against the so-called weaker teams as of late.
Indeed, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Southampton have all managed to get results against Arsenal in recent weeks, so it stands to reason to believe that Leeds could get something here if they’re at their best.
Of course, in order to get a win here, Jesse Marsch needs to get his team selection spot on, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Leeds’ starting XI for this one.
We think that Marsch will change formation after losing 4-1 to Manchester City, while there are also two personnel changes.
Leeds revert to a back four here, as Diego Llorente comes in for Robin Koch after the German played a part in United shipping four goals last week.
He partners 22-year-old Pascal Struijk at the back, while Luke Ayling and Junior Firpo start in the wide areas.
Mateusz Klich and Kalvin Phillips retain their places in the heart of the midfield, while the usual suspects of Raphinha and Jack Harrison start out wide.
Rodrigo is selected in an attacking midfield role here, while Daniel James is once again trusted to lead the line in a massive game.
