Manchester City travel to Elland Road on Saturday evening with the title race firmly in their sights.

Pep Guardiola’s side arrive in strong form after stringing together three consecutive league victories, keeping the pressure on Arsenal at the summit.

Momentum appears to be building at exactly the right time as the campaign enters its decisive stretch.

Leeds United, meanwhile, are fighting for survival and have shown resilience in recent weeks, losing only twice in the league since November.

Manchester City vs Leeds United date, kick-off time, and how to watch

Leeds United host Manchester City at Elland Road on Saturday, February 28, 2026, with kick-off set for 5:30 pm GMT.

The fixture will be broadcast live in the UK on Sky Sports, with coverage beginning at 5:00 pm on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event.

Manchester City vs Leeds United team news and prediction

Leeds are set to be without Noah Okafor after the forward sustained a hamstring injury in FA Cup action. Daniel Farke otherwise has close to a full squad available and may stick with the side that earned a draw at Aston Villa last time out.

Manchester City continue to manage a handful of absentees, with Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol sidelined. Jeremy Doku remains a doubt, though Guardiola has welcomed several players back in recent weeks, easing what was once a congested injury list.

Bernardo Silva also walks a disciplinary tightrope with two yellow cards separating him from a suspension.

Elland Road under the lights presents a demanding test, particularly against a Leeds side desperate for points.

City have occasionally looked vulnerable defensively this season, and the atmosphere could make this uncomfortable.

However, the champions appear to be finding rhythm at the right moment. Expect a competitive contest, but Manchester City’s quality in the final third should prove decisive.

Prediction: Manchester City 2-1 Leeds United.
