Tottenham Hotspur are confident Harry Kane will prioritise signing a new contract with the club. The striker is also a transfer target of Manchester United and Bayern Munich, though.
That is according to Ben Jacobs, who reports that Tottenham are calm about the situation surrounding Kane’s future in north London. He is only under contract with Spurs until June 2024. But club chiefs believe the 29-year-old’s priority is to extend his career in the capital.
Kane has been a part of the Tottenham fold since 2004 and he has now become their all-time top scorer. He bagged his 267th senior goal for the club to help beat Manchester City 1-0 last Sunday. Now, Kane is targeting Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League goal record.

“Alan has set the record to beat,” Kane told BBC Sport after beating Jimmy Greaves’ Spurs record. “I’ll see if I can beat it. I’m sure [Shearer]’ll be watching but I’m not sure if he’ll be happy or not! I’ve got plenty of goals to come, I’m feeling good.”
Tottenham are yet to advance negotiations with Kane over a new contract but are relaxed about his situation. They believe his priority would be to stay and the forward is inclined to commit to fresh terms. But he is also aware that any contract will likely be his last big deal.

Manchester United are readying a fire sale to secure Harry Kane’s transfer
Kane would have already signed a new contract with Tottenham from a purely emotional standpoint. But he is also weighing up the sporting project on offer at Spurs knowing that he turns 30 in July. So, this summer may also be Kane’s last chance to secure a big transfer.
Manchester United are planning a fire sale this summer to raise funds for a striker transfer with Kane of interest. The Manchester Evening News reports Erik ten Hag will look to flog a host of players like Anthony Martial, Harry Maguire and Alex Telles for a long-term signing.
But as well as Kane, Manchester United admire Napoli striker Victor Osimhen and may eye his transfer over dealing with Tottenham. Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos and Mohammed Kudus of Ajax – who Ten Hag worked with at the Eredivisie side – are also options at Old Trafford.
Kane is open to the idea of joining Manchester United if Tottenham are willing to grant a transfer, per The Independent. But The Telegraph also reports that Daniel Levy would ask for £100m to sell the England captain to another Premier League club during the summer.

A deal with Tottenham also interests Bayern Munich without a new contract
Levy will let the striker leave for less if he departs north London to pursue a new career in Europe. Bayern Munich could be an option as 90min add the record Bundesliga champions are hopeful of signing Kane. The £200k-a-week star is also not against moving to Bavaria.
But Bayern Munich will be unwilling to offer Tottenham the sort of money Levy would tell Manchester United to pay for Kane, who Jermain Defoe has called ‘unbelievable’. The 80-cap attacker can merit a high price despite his contract after netting 19 goals this season.
