90 Min have reported that Bayern Munich, who still aim to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur next summer value him at around £44.2 million.

The England captain has been speculated with a switch to the Bundesliga champions for the past couple of months.

With the Premier League legend’s contract set to expire in 2024, his future at Antonio Conte’s side remains uncertain.

And now, it seems Bayern Munich feel £44.2 million should be an acceptable fee for Tottenham to sell Harry Kane.

While the argument about the 29-year-old being in the final year of his contract does hold up, it is key to note how highly the prolific striker is valued by Tottenham.

Despite Spurs’ ups and downs this season, what remains indisputable is that Kane is their outright best player and goalscorer.

If club chief Oliver Kahn does indeed consider the Englishman as the German giants’ ‘dream’ coup (via Sport Bild), they will likely have to fork out a much bigger fee to sign arguably the greatest player in the North Londoners’ history.

But with Bayern being rather frugal in the transfer market, it does not come as a complete surprise that they see Tottenham striker Harry Kane as a £44.2 million player.

Now, the reason behind the valuation has been explained.

According to a new report by 90 Min, Bayern Munich value Tottenham marksman Harry Kane at £44.2 million, considering they sold Robert Lewandowski, the man he could very well replace for around the same fee to Barcelona.

However, Julian Nagelsmann’s side are aware that as the Englishman is younger than Lewandowski, he could cost more.

Ultimately, it seems borderline impossible to see Tottenham let go of Harry Kane to Bayern if they shell out as much as £44.2 million or even slightly more to sign him in the summer.
