Liverpool fans won’t believe latest UCL record 19-y/o target has just broken

Jude Bellingham continues to shine for Borussia Dortmund, and this week saw the reported Liverpool target break yet another record in the UEFA Champions League.

As per Squawka News, the 19-year-old midfielder became the first English teenager to ever captain a side in the Champions League, with Bellingham marking the occasion for Dortmund with a fine goal and an assist in a 3-1 win against Sevilla to keep pace with Manchester City in Group G.

With Bellingham taking the armband on the weekend for Dortmund in their 3-2 loss to FC Koln in the Bundesliga, the teenager continues to make huge strides with the German giants this season. And as a result, interest in the midfielder is beginning to hot up amongst English sides.

Fabrizio Romano has recently reported that Liverpool will move for the former Birmingham City star in 2023, with the transfer guru also claiming, though, that the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid are also keeping a close eye on the England international heading into next summer.

Indeed, there’s a strong chance that Bellingham could return to England next summer in a deal that could make the midfielder one of the most expensive players of all-time. Yet with a club as big as Dortmund handing the youngster the captaincy at such a young age, big things are clearly expected for the Three Lions wonderkid.

Bellingham’s potential is almost frightening to think about at this stage of his career, with the midfielder going from strength to strength with each passing game and continuing to shatter new records along the way, and this week’s latest accolade must tip Liverpool over the edge to sign the youngster.
