HITC can confirm that Liverpool have begun a mass exodus at the club with a £25million deal for Fabio Carvalho.

The Reds have agreed terms with Brentford for the 21-year-old in a deal that could rise above £25million.

Liverpool rejected a bid from Southampton for Carvalho earlier in the window and insisted they wanted to keep hold of the Portuguese winger.

Fabio Carvalho was admired at Anfield and was branded an “oustanding” signing when he first joined the club.

However, HITC is told that Brentford’s offer was too good for Liverpool not too consider.

Carvalho had also held talks with the club and asked them to allow him to complete the move to Thomas Frank’s side.

Liverpool are yet to announce a signing of their own this summer, but HITC understands that a number of Reds are set to follow Carvalho out the door at Anfield.

Liverpool exodus begins with four stars on the move

As Arne Slot grows more familiar with his Liverpool side, the Merseyside club are now prepared to let players go that are not in his plans for the new season.

HITC understands that RB Salzburg are closing in on a deal for youngster Bobby Clark with both parties discussing loan and permanent options for the 19-year-old.

Former Liverpool assistant Pep Lijnders is looking to raid the Reds for Clark, while a host of Championship clubs including Norwich City, Sheffield Untied and Leeds have also enquired about a loan deal.

HITC understands Dutch defender Sepp van den Berg is also set to complete a move away from the club with Wolfsburg favourites to land him.

Slot had considered keeping Van den Berg at the club but the 22-year-old wants the guarantee of regular first-team football.

Wolfsburg are looking at van den Berg as a possible replacement for Maxence Lacroix – who is wanted by Crystal Palace.

Liverpool could also wave goodbye to academy duo Ben Doak and Tyler Morton, who are subject to loan interest.
