Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to rumours that Southampton don’t want to do business with them in regards to their interest in Jannik Vestergaard.
Last summer, Spurs secured the signature of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton, with their academy product, Kyle Walker-Peters, heading towards the other direction.
But it seems as though Southampton ‘aren’t particularly keen to do business’ with those in North London, as claimed by talkSPORT reporter, Alex Crook.
Tottenham fans have offered a mixed reaction to those rumours and it may just come back to haunt them.
Rumours surfaced yesterday that Spurs want to bring contract-rebel, Danny Ings, to Spurs to play alongside Harry Kane.
And if the Saints’ mood hasn’t changed then things might just become pretty difficult for the marmite-like figure, Daniel Levy, to do any dealing with them.
But it needs to be remembered that the under-fire Spurs chairman is taking a step back when it comes to club matters.
Fabio Paratici is the man who will do the talking now, so perhaps Southampton will react differently if he comes knocking.
