Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has posted on Instagram ‘let’s go’ after Lucas Torreira left Arsenal to sign for Galatasaray.
The 26-year-old secured a permanent transfer to the Turkish giants, with the player falling out of favour under Mikel Arteta’s first team plans in recent years.
The likes of Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey, Martin Odegaard and Mohamed Elneny have pushed ahead of the midfielder in the pecking order.

Added with Oleksandr Zinchenko and Fabio Vieira also joining the club this summer to add depth to Arteta’s squad,it pushes the South American star even further away.
Last season, Torreira was loaned out to Italian side Fiorentina and he actually wanted a return to the Serie A club, but a deal couldn’t be completed.
But he has found his new home in Turkey, with several players reacting to his move, including Xhaka praising him for his move in the comments section of his post.
WILL ARSENAL ADD ANOTHER MIDFIELDER THIS SEASON?
There has been talk of Arteta possibly needing another midfielder to his squad before the 2022 summer window slams shut on September 1.
An attack-minded midfielder isn’t probably needed because recently-appointed skipper, Martin Odegaard, is the main guy, whilst Vieira and Emile Smith Rowe can also play that role just behind that striker.
A more solid number eight is needed, perhaps someone with a more defensive brain, although, Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans continues to be linked.
Arsenal’s opening 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Friday night certainly helps matters in the market because it will provide players with belief that the process should be trusted.
