Leeds United and Everton target Viktor Gyokeres has spoken his mind about being constantly linked with a summer transfer from Coventry City.
The £20 million-rated striker has been speculated to join either club, with Leeds reportedly having a plan in place to sign him, while Sean Dyche was claimed to have desired his arrival in January itself.

As the summer transfer window seems closer than ever as the season is nearing its end, Leeds United and Everton target Viktor Gyokeres has addressed his transfer plans.
Gyokeres speaks about transfer links amid Leeds & Everton speculation
The Swedish No.9, described as ‘unbelievable’ by Mark Robins has been lauded by any and every avid follower of the Championship, as he sits behind just Chuba Akpom as the league’s top scorer with 18 goals this campaign.
And that too for a Coventry side that are in 8th place in the division unlike Akpom’s Middlesborough side, who are currently in 3rd position.
As Leeds and Everton continue to be speculated with having their sights set on pulling off a transfer involving Viktor Gyokeres, the man himself has spoken about his future.
“These are just rumours. We’ll see what happens in the summer. I try not to get any info about it right now. I want to focus on the matches. So, you have to take it then. There is no transfer window now. So, it feels a little unnecessary to put energy on it now”, he told Fotball Skanalen.
Both clubs are in desperate need of Gyokeres
Considering patience in Patrick Bamford and Dominic Calvert-Lewin seems to be running thing amongst Leeds and Everton fans respectively, Viktor Gyokeres could prove to be a brilliant upgrade, if either team manager to secure his transfer.
Gyokeres’ impressive technical ability for a man of his size, coupled with his textbook hold-up play and eye for goal is why he has generated the buzz he has so far.
If either side manage to sign him next season, they are almost guaranteed as complete a No.9 as they could possibly bring in through the door.
