Arne Slot, who has been heavily linked with replacing Jesse Marsch as Leeds United manager has confirmed his stay at Feyenoord.
It seems as if Dutch agent, Guido Albers was spot on about his prediction regarding the ‘amazing’ 44-year-old snubbing the vacant job at Elland Road, with the likes of Andoni Iraola and Carlos Corberan also ruling themselves out to take over at the club.
Now, Arne Slot has confirmed that he plans to stay at Feyenoord, which means he has had no intention to replace Jesse Marsch as Leeds boss.
Leeds-linked Marsch replacement, Arne Slot confirms Feyenoord stay
Ultimately, this comes as a blow for the Whites, who are yet to find a successor to the former RB Leipzig head coach, who was given the marching orders after a whole host of poor results for a large stretch.

And now, to add to Leeds United’s misery, Arne Slot has been quoted by Dutch outlet Voetbal International as confirming that his plan is to stay put as Feyenoord manager.
“But it is true that I will stay with Feyenoord, I can say that with this one. This is clear, fans do not have to be afraid”, Arne Slot said, which means that he will not replace Jesse Marsch at Leeds now.
When quizzed about whether he could have left the Eredivisie club or whether he never had a plan to in the first place, the highly-rated tactician replied, “I think [it was] a combination of both. The club has been clear. It was a compliment that a club like Leeds was interested but we are doing something great with Feyenoord. We are in a great position in the league, the cup and in Europe.”
Arne Slot concluded his confirmation about snubbing the opportunity to manage Leeds and replacing Jesse Marsch by choosing to stay at Feyenoord by saying, “There is no disappointment. It’s certainly not a punishment to stay here.”
