Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been linked with Weston McKennie, but Juventus are now reportedly planning to use him in a deal to sign Alexis Mac Allister, a player Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur want to bring to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Juventus plan to use Liverpool-linked McKennie to sign Tottenham target Mac Allister

Italian outlet L’Interista have reported that Tottenham, Atletico Madrid and Juventus have joined Inter Milan in the race to sign Mac Allister from Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Daily Mail have reported that Liverpool are looking at McKennie and could try to sign the USA international midfielder on loan from former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners Juventus in the January transfer window.

However, it seems that Juventus could deal a blow to both Tottenham and Liverpool.

Italian news outlet CMW have reported that Juventus want to sign Mac Allister from Premier League club Brighton.

The 23-year-old starred for Argentina at the 2022 Qatar World Cup and helped his nation win the tournament.

Juventus are reportedly willing to use midfielder McKennie in a part-exchange deal to bring Mac Allister to the club in the summer of 2023.

The report has claimed that while Brighton are willing to sell Mac Allister, they want at least €30 million (£26 million) in transfer fees for the Argentine.

In cash.

It will be interesting to see if Juventus are wiling to meet Brighton’s demands.

And if they do, then they would be spoiling the transfer plans of both Liverpool and Tottenham.
