According to Ben Jacobs, Arsenal have done plenty of homework on Tottenham target Evan Ndicka as they weigh up a January move.

Well, the Frenchman represents a very promising market opportunity for somebody in 2023, as Eintracht Frankfurt are believed to be willing to sell for just £7m – that was according to Calciomercato.
Ndicka is in the final season of his contract with the German side, and those at the Bundesliga outfit have slapped the £7m price tag on the defender’s head amid fears of losing him for nothing in July.
It comes after Foot Mercato revealed that Tottenham are also interested in the 23-year-old.
However, it seems Antonio Conte will face serious competition from Mikel Arteta, as Jacobs claims that the Gunners have researched Ndicka extensively.
Speaking to Give Me Sport, the journalist said: “Arsenal like the player. They’ve certainly done their legwork and their due diligence and their scouting on him. There’s a lot of interest in the player, not just from the Premier League but from all across Europe as well.”
So far this season, Ndicka has made 18 appearances in all competitions for Eintracht Frankfurt, after helping them win the Europa League last term.
Aside from Tottenham, Arsenal face more Ndicka competition
Tottenham aren’t the only side Arsenal need to fend off in the race to sign Ndicka.
According to Calcio Dangolo, José Mourinho is also keen to sign the Eintracht Frankfurt No.2 when the transfer window opens, as he aims to bolster his defence at Roma.
However, the 59-year-old is also eyeing Everton colossus Yerry Mina as an alternative.
According to Jeunes Footeux, West Ham are admirers of the France Under-21 international as well.
