Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has said that he hopes that AC Milan beat Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Champions League, as quoted in Football Italia.
Tottenham and Arsenal are bitter North London rivals.
Jorginho joined Arsenal from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the January transfer window.
Tottenham lost 1-0 to AC Milan away from home at San Siro in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie last week.
The second leg of the tie will be held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next month.
Jorginho played for Hellas Verona, Sambonifacese (loan) and Napoli in Italy.
Arsenal’s Jorginho on Tottenham Hotspur v AC Milan
The midfielder said when asked about the rivalry between Arsenal and Spurs: “Forza Milan.”
Jorginho added: “The matches with Tottenham are those Arsenal fans look forward to the most. I am sure they will all support Milan.”

Who will win?
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur could struggle to beat AC Milan in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie even at home.
Yes, Tottenham will have home advantage, but Milan are a good team who have a 1-0 lead.
Let us not forget that the Rossoneri won the Serie A title last season.
And Milan will know that as long as they keep a clean sheet at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, they will go through.
The Italian giants also have far more experience in the UEFA Champions League than Tottenham have.
