Joe Cole has claimed that Arsenal transfer target, Jarrod Bowen, has had an ‘outstanding season’ in West Ham United colours.
If it weren’t for a certain Mo Salah doing wonders on the left for Liverpool, then Bowen probably would have been in the Premier League Team of the Season.
The 25-year-old scored 12 goals and produced the same number of assists, as West Ham United secured European football once more.

Added with that, he also recently made his England debut, although what Gareth Southgate’s side produced as a whole during the UEFA Nations League was pretty woeful.
Nonetheless, with Arsenal keen to sign Bowen from West Ham, this is what Cole had to say about the player, whilst speaking to Channel 4.
“He’s had an outstanding season,” said Cole. “And his story is wonderful because he has come up through the leagues.
“So many of these lads have gone through the academies as small boys. He has been on loan. He has been in non-league. He has been in the Championship.
“At West Ham, he has been exceptional. Plays with freedom and energy. I thought he was brilliant on his (England) debut. He looks at home in an England kit.”

BOWEN DESERVES CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FOOTBALL
West Ham don’t want to lose Bowen, especially given that there is continued transfer talk involving Declan Rice’s future in East London.
But if they have to part ways with the versatile attacker, then it has to be to a team in the Champions League.
Arsenal simply can’t provide that now and many would question whether they can do the business next season.
But, at this moment in time, Bowen is better off staying put and continuing his journey at the London Stadium.
