Dean Jones told The Football Terrace that Tottenham’s search for a new manager is ‘absolute chaos’.
The journalist shared that he has been speaking to people within Tottenham for ‘years’ and they ‘always know what is going on’.
But as Tottenham’s search for a new manager heads towards a third month.
Jones worryingly claimed that those inside Tottenham just don’t know what to tell him now given how things are currently panning out.
“Honestly, it’s chaos,” said Jones. “It’s absolute chaos this search for a new manager.
“I speak to people I have spoken to for years at Tottenham and they always know what is going on. They will always give me the inside track of how they see things opening up and what I should expect coming up.
“In the early days of this manager search, they were pretty confident that they knew what was happening which each of the candidates.
“But it comes to now and honestly they are like ‘I don’t want to tell you stuff anymore because I feel like I don’t know and I am almost part of the conversations’.
“The guys I speak to aren’t hearing the stories first-hand. They aren’t in the room with Daniel Levy and Paratici on the discussions. But then they hear it from the agents themselves. They see it’s been so difficult to follow.”

From dreams of Tottenham potentially landing the coaching talents of Antonio Conte, who had just won Serie A with Inter, they cannot even seemingly convince Graham Potter to take their reigns.
What makes matters worse for Tottenham is that this can only get worse because when Euro 2020 is over, a bigger limelight will be put on the mess that Daniel Levy has created.
Plus, by the time players arrive back for pre-season, if Spurs don’t have a new manager then many will be asking questions about their future.
The main talking point will be Harry Kane, but Spurs don’t want a situation where, due to the uncertainty, others look to head for the exit door as well.
