Everton have been handed a major boost in the race for a former Tottenham Hotspur star, who has been hailed as ‘incredible’.
Sean Dyche’s Everton have made a couple of noteworthy signings this summer with the Toffees signing promising Aston Villa midfielder Tim Iroegbunam, whilst also signing Leeds United winger Jack Harrison on loan for a second season.
HITC has confirmed that Everton are closing in on a deal for ‘outstanding’ winger Jesper Lindstrom, with a medical for the Danish international set to take place this week.
In terms of outgoings, Everton are understood to have told Manchester United that Jarrad Branthwaite’s £70 million price tag will have to be paid if the Red Devils want to land the Englishman.
If Branthwaite did depart, Everton could be in the market for a new centre-back and have been linked with a former Tottenham Hotspur defender.

Davinson Sanchez opens up on Premier League return amid Everton links
Turkish outlet Ajansspor reported back on the 13th of July that Everton had made a new offer for the Colombian defender Davinson Sanchez.
The report states that Crystal Palace are also interested in the Galatasaray ace but Everton have reportedly raised their offer for the former Spurs defender to €20 million but the Turkish giants reportedly want €25 million.
With negotiations seemingly continuing, Sanchez was asked about a potential return to England when he spoke to Caracol Radio.
“It is the reflection of good work,” he said, when asked about Premier League interest.
“I am a person who trusts a lot in working, in having the ability to overcome, in not being in a comfort zone, the comfort zone always limits your possibilities, one can go much further than where you are.
“Teams and possibilities come, being on the radar of important teams, you are proud because you know that the job is being done well.
“At the moment I have to join my team in the pre-season in the coming days and we will see what is best for me and for the club, I still have a contract and what is decided will be thinking about well-being.”
Sanchez hailed as ‘incredible footballer’ by Turkish media
Ahead of the Champions League game against Manchester United at Old Trafford last season, Milliyet reporter Nevzat Dindar has given his early verdict on Sanchez.
Dindar has praised Sanchez as an ‘incredible defender’ but admits that he can be a little ‘risky’ at times.
Mauricio Pochettino, during his time as manager of the Lilywhites, labelled Sanchez as a ‘beast’ and he could be an interesting addition to the Toffees back line.
