Ashley Williams has claimed that if Liverpool sign Jude Bellingham in 2023, then Jurgen Klopp will have an ‘absolute unbelievable player’ at his disposal, as he told BBC Sport.
Next summer, Jude Bellingham is probably going to be the hottest property on the transfer market and former centre-back Williams just wants to see the midfielder in the Premier League.
The 19-year-old’s progression is just going through the roof, and on Friday night, he became a record-breaker when he became Borussia Dortmund’s youngest-ever captain during their 3-2 defeat to FC Köln.

To the surprise of nobody, teams up and down the footballing world want the all-action star on their books – and Liverpool, who have been long-admirers, are no different.
Nevermind next summer, it could be argued that, for the past two summer windows, the Reds could have done with his services.
Well, if Bellingham does secure a transfer next summer, Williams wants to see him return to England and thinks Liverpool would be a fit for the player.
“It would be a great move if he moves anywhere because I think he’s a superb talent,” said Williams. “What a football player. Very mature. We saw his performances for England.
“Very brave and he is as good as any midfielder, at the minute. If it is Liverpool, then I think it would be a really good signing for them.
“For him? Would it be a good fit? Possibly. He seems like the type of lad that would make it work wherever he goes.
“But I do think someone put money down and bring him to the Premier League because I want to see him week in and week out. Go and get him. What a player. An absolute unbelievable player.”

LIVERPOOL’S CURRENT ISSUES
Before Liverpool can put money on the table for Bellingham, they need to sort out their current situation because they are in all sorts of bother.
At the rate they are going at, forget about a Premier League title challenge, it’s Champions League places they will battle for.
Klopp has been here before, but that was when he was stacked with injuries, well, those very same players are now performing in a miserable fashion.
Given what this team has produced over the years, you would back them to get it right at some stage, but the more it continues to go wrong, the less chance they will have of signing a Bellingham.
