Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to make a big claim about Arsenal and Tottenham target Youri Tielemans, on the day of the FA Cup final.
What’s the story?
Well, Liverpool take on Chelsea at Wembley today in the showpiece event, with kick-off commencing at 16:45pm.
Last season, Chelsea were again involved, although they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Leicester thanks to a phenomenal strike from Tielemans.
When asked which FA Cup final goal is the greatest in football history, Lineker opted for the Belgian’s effort – a suspicious choice, seeing as he supports Leicester.
Nevertheless, the BBC Match of the Day host stressed there was no bias at large – you can see what he wrote on Twitter in full below.
It was a wonderful goal, in truth, and with ability like that, it’s no surprise to see Arsenal and Tottenham trying to sign Tielemans.
Interestingly, the Gunners are said to be in talks with Leicester over a deal.

Elsewhere, Fabrizio Romano revealed that Spurs are also keen on signing the 25-year-old.
So far this season, Tielemans has scored seven goals in 47 appearances, while also providing four assists.
Arsenal or Tottenham must not overpay for Youri Tielemans
In our view, Mikel Arteta and Antonio Conte must be wary of paying over the odds for Tielemans.
The Belgium international becomes a free agent in June 2023, and it has been said that he definitely won’t sign a new contract with Leicester.
Therefore, Arsenal and Tottenham find themselves in a strong negotiating position.

Effectively, Leicester must sell, or lose their No.8 for nothing.
A £25m asking price has been mentioned, and in our view, that is a bargain for a player like Tielemans, who is among the most technical midfielders in the Premier League.
Keep an eye on this situation, as anything could happen this summer.
