Thomas Partey does not seem to have a future at Arsenal, and I think that Gunners manager Mikel Arteta needs to look at a potential deal for Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.
I believe that Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes would be the perfect replacement for Thomas Partey at Arsenal.
No future at Arsenal for Thomas Partey
Partey has had injury problems this season. When fit, the 30-year-old was deployed at right-back despite being a defensive midfielder by trade.
The Ghana international is out of contract at Arsenal in the summer of 2025. He has made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League so far this season.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has praised Partey publicly, but that has not dampened speculation over the future of the defensive midfielder. Barcelona have been linked with the former Atletico Madrid star.

Partey is 30 now, and I do not think that he is going to become a regular in the starting lineup at Arsenal anytime soon. Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard are two of the three regular midfielders, and Jorginho is playing well now and could get a new deal.
When Gabriel Jesus is back in the starting lineup, Kai Havertz will become an option in midfield. Havertz is playing as a false nine now and is doing well.
Bruno Guimaraes should replace Thomas Partey at Arsenal
In my view, Arsenal need to look at a potential replacement for Partey, and in Bruno Guimaraes, Arteta would have the perfect midfielder to play alongside Rice and Odegaard.
Bruno is one of the best and most dynamic midfielders in the Premier League, At Newcastle United, manager Eddie Howe generally deploys the Brazil international in the centre of a three-man midfielder.
Arsenal wanted to sign Bruno in January 2022, and I think that the Gunners would have followed him closely at Newcastle. Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in him now.
The 26-year-old is very good at passing, can drive the team forward, imposes himself in the middle of the park and can break down the opposition’s attacks.
Bruno scores goals and provides assists, and I think that because of the attacking way that Arsenal play, he would be a good addition to the Gunners’ team. I think that the Gunners should bid for the Brazilian in the summer transfer window.
