Ray Parlour thinks Liverpool won’t be able to land Jude Bellingham’s talents this summer, after Borussia Dortmund sold Erling Haaland to Manchester City, as he told talkSPORT.

The Arsenal legend labelled Bellingham as an ‘unbelievable’ player and someone who is ‘so calm’ for his age.

The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the top youngsters in world football and someone who is wanted by the best teams in Europe, including Liverpool.

It’s not a case of Bellingham not leaving Dortmund, they have proven they are a selling club – Jadon Sancho and Haaland have left in back-to-back summers.

But, the German club always get their way and sell their star players when it’s right for them and Bellingham will be no different.

Nonetheless, Parlour reacted to comments of Liverpool being urged to sign Bellingham, but he made it clear that it won’t happen.

“I don’t think Dortmund can lose two players in one summer, can they?” asked Parlour.

“I don’t think they will sell him. They don’t have to, at the moment. But what a player.

“He is going to be a top, top player. So calm for his age, it’s amazing to see. Unbelievable.

“To play for England as well, to step into that midfield like he has been there for years. He will be bought by someone, but whether it’s going to be this window, I doubt it.”

BELLINGHAM SHOULD STAY AT DORTMUND

Bellingham has the footballing world at his feet and he shouldn’t leave Dortmund any time soon.

The all-action midfielder isn’t even out of his teen years, so he has all the time in the world to play for the best of the best.

Whilst the England international has played a ridiculous amount of games for his age, this stage of his career is still about his development.

So, staying in Dortmund for the next few years, then making his next step, is probably a wise move for the player.
