As you may have heard, Arsenal and Tottenham are keen to bring RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer to the Premier League.
Bayern Munich are also interested in the Austria international, although RB Leipzig are said to be holding out for a sum of €30m (£25m) if they are to sell their No.27 this summer.
However, Domenico Tedesco has expressed stubbornness, claiming that Laimer is “our player” as he issued a hands-off warning – now Lukas Klostermann has also addressed the situation.
What’s the story?
Well, the Arsenal and Tottenham target’s teammate doesn’t think anything will happen this summer.
Klostermann told BILD: “I’m not worried about Konny, I assume that he will stay.”
Clearly, the defender strongly believes Laimer will stay with RB Leipzig, which doesn’t offer much encouragement to the Gunners or Spurs in their respective pursuits.

Aston Villa are also said to be interested in the 25-year-old, so Klostermann’s comments also won’t be music to the ears of Steven Gerrard.
However, Laimer is supposedly a big fan of the Villans boss, who he idolised during the Liverpool legend’s playing days, so who knows what could happen.
Interest in the Salzburg-born maestro comes after he scored five goals in 43 appearances last season, while also providing six assists.
Arsenal & Tottenham have hope
There is one grey cloud looming over RB Leipzig which could have an impact on Laimer’s future this summer.
The Austrian has entered the final 12 months of his contract with the Bundesliga side, and it has been said that he rejected the offer of fresh terms as he consider his options.

Therefore, if Mikel Arteta or Antonio Conte can get close enough to his £25m asking price, we believe RB Leipzig could be tempted into a deal, or else they may lose him for nothing.
Keep an eye on this situation, as we believe there will be more developments before the deadline on September 1st.
