Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that Alisson is available for the Merseyside derby against Everton this weekend, as quoted in The Liverpool Echo.

Alisson was not pictured in training on Thursday, as Liverpool prepared for the Premier League game against Everton at Anfield on Saturday.

That led to worries among Liverpool fans, with some of them concerned about the possibility of Adrian starting in goal against the Toffees.

The Liverpool Echo has quoted Klopp as saying about Alisson today: “He is fine.”

Huge for Liverpool

Alisson did not play well against Manchester City and Leicester City and made mistakes in both of the Premier League games.

However, the Brazil international goalkeeper did well against RB Leipzig in the Champions League in midweek and kept a clean sheet.

It is a huge boost for Liverpool that Alisson is fit and available for the match against Everton.

The Toffees are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season and will make it hard for the Reds.

Alisson may have made mistakes in recent times, but he remains a quality goalkeeper and pulls off some superb saves and will be needed against Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
