Some Liverpool fans on social media are growing incredibly worried after noticing that Alisson Becker was absent from the training gallery uploaded onto the club’s website.
As ever, the club photographer was doing his rounds at the AXA Training Ground ahead of the Merseyside Derby, and while most of the squad were seemingly present and ready, Alisson was nowhere to be seen.
The Brazilian has of course had plenty of injury problems to deal with this season, so Reds supporters were understandably fearing the worst after seeing these pictures.
Their concerns weren’t alleviated by a tweet from Adrian that may be hinting towards him being involved at the weekend.
Of course, absence from training photos may not necessarily mean injury or absence at the weekend, Alisson may have been elsewhere performing media duties or he may have just coincidentally avoided the cameraman throughout the session.
We will have a much clearer picture on the Brazilian international’s fitness once Jurgen Klopp does his press conference, and we’re sure that there will be many Reds supporters nervously awaiting an update on Alisson.
