Some Liverpool fans on Twitter are worried that Adrian will play in goal against Everton this weekend.
Adrian has posted a photo of himself in training ahead of the Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton on Saturday.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper seems excited ahead of the Premier League game, perhaps dropping a hint that he will start.
The Spaniard – who described himself as a “very ambitious” footballer on Liverpool’s official website in August 2019 – is a back-up to Alisson.
Alisson made mistakes in Liverpool’s last two Premier League games against Manchester City and Leicester City, but the Brazilian kept his place in the starting lineup against RB Leipzig in the Champions League in midweek.
As reported by The Liverpool Echo, Alisson and fellow goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher did not train on Thursday.

Adrian and Marcelo Pitaluga were the only goalkeepers at the session at the AXA Training Centre, according to the report.
Some Liverpool fans on Twitter are in disbelief that Adrian – who has made costly errors for the Reds – could start against Everton and are already worried about the result in the Premier League game, as shown below.
Although some have wished Adrian – described by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as someone “who has played in pressure situations and has the highest quality” on Liverpool’s official website in August 2019 – the best of luck against Everton if he plays, others are worried about him starting in the Merseyside derby.
