Has Jorginho won the Premier League? Arsenal fans have been asking on Google as the Italy international moves to north London from Chelsea.
As detailed by the BBC, the Gunners had a £12m bid accepted for the 31-year-old early on deadline day after Brighton rejected a second offer worth £70m for Moises Caicedo, according to Sky Sports.
Mikel Arteta and Edu – Director of Football at the Emirates Stadium – swiftly moved on to Jorginho as they attempted to add depth to the midfield department, after Mohamed Elneny suffered a serious injury.
So, has Jorginho won the Premier League? Let’s take a look…
Has Jorginho won the Premier League?
Well, the Brazil-born playmaker has won plenty of silverware at Chelsea since his £50m move from Napoli in 2018.
However, Jorginho is yet to get his hands on the Premier League title.

The Italian has won both the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League during his time at Stamford Bridge, as well as the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
Jorginho was also named UEFA Men’s Player of the Year in 2021 after helping Italy win EURO 2020 shortly after playing a key role in Chelsea’s Champions League final win over Manchester City.
The Italy international almost got his hands on two more trophies last season, but unfortunately finished as a runner up in both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup, with Liverpool defeating Chelsea on penalties in both finals.
Talks between Jorginho and Arsenal seemed to progress very quickly, so it appears he is very eager to take part in the title charge as the Gunners find themselves five points clear of Manchester City.
As Liverpool fans will tell you, the Citizens can be relentless at the top of the Premier League, so it makes sense that Arteta is keeping his midfield department well stocked in case of injuries.
Jorginho may not be Caicedo or Declan Rice, but his experience in successful sides could prove to be invaluable for Arsenal as we enter the business end to the season.
