Ramon Vega has backed Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur to secure the transfer of Juventus and Serbia star, Dusan Vlahovic, if Harry Kane leaves the club this summer.

As of this moment, Tottenham and Daniel Levy have rejected Bayern Munich’s latest offer for the England striker – although, the German club aren’t backing away and are going to put in another bid for Harry Kane, as reported by Sky Sports.

That just continues the transfer speculation around the player, with Ramon Vega making it clear on Twitter that, if the worst-case scenario happens, then he wants Dusan Vlahovic to be brought in.

What’s interesting here is that the 23-year-old is already the subject of Premier League interest, including from Chelsea, with claims that Mauricio Pochettino is ‘unconvinced’ by the player.

After success in the colours of Fiorentina, Vlahovic has found life tough at Juventus, scoring 23 goals in 63 matches, including 10 in 27 from the last campaign.

But it needs to be noted that Juventus haven’t exactly been shining in a great light, so they aren’t the best example to use here, with Vega making his feelings clear.

“If and only if Harry Kane leaves Spurs,” said Vega. “Just go for Dusan Vlahovic, (he) would be a great replacement.”

Daniel Levy criticised for Ange Postecoglou treatment

The new Premier League campaign is days away and there is still talk about whether Kane will leave or not, which surely doesn’t help Ange Postecoglou’s cause.

All summer long, he has had to bat against the talk of his star striker’s future, but to lose him so late in the window isn’t going to help, that’s why Daniel Levy has been accused of ‘screwing over’ the Spurs boss.

Unless Spurs already have a plan B, C, D, E and F ready to go in case Kane goes, then this could become very tricky if Bayern put down the required money.
