Michael Dawson has said on Sky Sports Premier League (12:09pm, November 5, 2022) that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal play better football than Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Tottenham defender has said that Arsenal’s football is “far superior” to that of Tottenham.
Dawson made the comments about Tottenham while discussing why Conte’s side are being criticised by some despite picking up results due to the football being played by Arsenal.
The Gunners are challenging for the Premier League title and are playing wonderful football.
Although Tottenham are winning matches, both in the Premier League and in the UEFA Champions League, they are relying on late goals and are defensive.

Dawson said: “I think Arsenal are the moment, they are playing far superior to what Spurs are.”
Arsenal are playing better football than Tottenham Hotspur and are also higher than them in the Premier League table at the moment.
Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte does have a reputation of playing defensive football, but that is fine as long as the team get positive results.
And Spurs are winning matches.
