Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has dismissed speculation linking him with Tottenham Hotspur, as quoted in STV.
The Telegraph have reported that Postecoglou is one of the managers Tottenham are reportedly looking at replacing Antonio Conte with.
It is unclear whether Conte will sign a new contract and stay at Spurs beyond the end of the season.
Postecoglou was linked with the Leeds United managerial role as well before the Premier League club appointed Javi Gracia.
And just like then, the Australian has distant himself from the Tottenham job.
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou on Tottenham Hotspur rumour
Postecoglou said when asked about the Tottenham rumours: “I don’t look at it at all, it’s just not of interest to me.
“I don’t wake up and get a daily briefing on the latest gossip, whether that’s football or non-football related.
“I get up every morning and come to work and deal with what’s in front of me.
“The rest of it doesn’t mean anything to me, doesn’t affect me, doesn’t affect the people around me.
“Like most things, people want to have something to talk about and they pick things that are fairly obscure and you can run with without worrying too much whether there is actually any evidence behind it.”

No move now
In our view, Ange Postecoglou is not going to leave Celtic for Tottenham Hotspur now.
After all, the Hoops have not won the Scottish Premiership title yet.
Postecoglou, 57, will surely not leave the Hoops before winning the title for the second season in a row.
Now, if Tottenham were to make a move for Postecoglou in the summer of 2023, then things could be interesting.
After all, would Postecoglou really be willing will turn down the chance to manage a massive club such as Tottenham?
We do not think so.
