Neil McCann has said on Sportscene that Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou will not take the Leeds United manager’s job.
The former Rangers winger has said that even though Leeds are a massive club, Postecoglou will not leave Celtic in the middle of the season.
The BBC Sport pundit has noted that the 57-year-old Australian manger has actually not won a major trophy with Celtic this season.
McCann does not think that Postecoglou will leave the Hoops in the middle of the campaign.
Leeds sacked Jesse Marsch as their manager last week.
The West Yorkshire club are in real danger of getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season.
Postecoglou has been linked with the managerial role at Elland Road.
The Daily Star reported last week that Postecoglou is on the shortlist of managers that Leeds are looking at.

McCann said, as transcribed by GlasgowLive: “I don’t think it will happen now. Ange never gives anything away and he never gives any oxygen to the fire either. He just kills the questions off very quickly because he’s just there to do a job for Celtic.
“You can clearly see he’s got a lot of passion for the club. I would be very surprised if he walked out, even for such a great job at Leeds. I’d be surprised to see Ange walk out on a job that’s half done.
“There’s nothing won yet. He’s got the League Cup final, he’s into the quarter-finals of the Scottish and they’ve got a comfortable lead in the Premiership. I don’t think he’ll be rushing away, I don’t see him as that type of guy.
“Unless they come with a truck full of money for him and offer him something he wants in terms of football (incentives), because I don’t think he’s driven by money. It would have to be a football thing. Everybody else would like to see him disappear because he’s doing such a good job. But I can’t see him doing it.”
Ange Postecoglou unlikely to leave Celtic for Leeds United
We do not think that Ange Postecoglou will leave Celtic for Leeds United now.
After all, the Hoops are on course to having a very successful season.
Ange Postecoglou could guide Celtic to Scottish Premiership, Scottish League Cup and Scottish Cup glory this campaign.
Why would the 57-year-old Australian give that up and move to a Leeds team who could end up in the Championship in England?
Last season, Postecoglou won the Scottish Premiership and the Scottish League Cup with Celtic.
