NFL Madden 27 comes out a month from now, and ratings for some of the league’s biggest stars have been released.

Last year, seven players made it into the 99 club β€” that number has dropped to six for the 2027 edition, if the latest reports are right.

The official ratings are yet to be released, but a reliable Madden leaker has released a list of the top 100 ahead of the August 13th launch date. The new list sees just three stars hold onto their 99 rating, joined by three newcomers who impressed the EA Sports team over the last 12 months.

Here’s the six who made it, according to MUTLeaksXXVII on X.

The NFL Madden 27 99 Club

Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills, quarterback

Allen makes it back-to-back appearances in the 99 Club after delivering the finest season of his career. The reigning MVP threw 28 touchdown passes while adding another 12 scores on the ground.

Even without a star-studded receiving corps, Allen repeatedly produced the defining plays, cementing himself as one of football’s most devastating quarterbacks.

Myles Garrett – Los Angeles Rams, defensive end

Garrett remains the standard for defensive dominance, earning a second straight place in the 99 Club after another strong season.

While his sack total dipped slightly from his Defensive Player of the Year season, he still finished with 14 sacks, consistently wrecking game plans with relentless pressure, elite run defense and constant double teams.

Few defenders influence every snap the way Garrett does, and that keeps him firmly among the NFL’s elite.

Matthew Stafford – Los Angeles Rams, quarterback

His teammate Stafford enters the 99 Club for the first time in his career after reminding everyone why he’s one of the league’s premier passers. He threw for more than 3,700 yards despite injuries around him, keeping the offense ticking with elite anticipation and accuracy.

The 38-year-old’s throwing has never been in doubt, but last season was his best in years, showing veteran poise as he gruided another playoff-bound campaign.

Trey McBride – Arizona Cardinals, tight end

McBride earns his first 99 rating after establishing himself as the NFL’s premier all-around tight end. He led the position in receptions with 111 and surpassed 1,100 receiving yards, becoming the focal point of the attack.

Reliable over the middle, dangerous after the catch and capable as a blocker, McBride has developed into a complete player. His consistency from Week 1 through the playoffs made this rise into the exclusive 99 club inevitable.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba – Seattle Seahawks, wide receiver

Smith-Njigba takes a huge leap in the Madden ratings following a breakout second season that saw him emerge as one of football’s most polished receivers.

He topped 1,100 receiving yards with crisp route running, dependable hands and an ability to create separation. JSN proved he belongs among the league’s elite with his Seahawks campaign.

Ja’Marr Chase – Cincinnati Bengals, wide receiver

Chase stays in the 99 Club for a second consecutive year after putting together one of the most dominant receiving seasons in recent memory.

He captured the receiving Triple Crown, leading the NFL in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches while once again proving virtually impossible to contain in single coverage.

The 26-year-old has a knack for delivering in the biggest moments, and earned every bit of his 99 rating on the new Madden game.
