Everton are reportedly interested in adding a right-back addition to their squad this summer under manager Sean Dyche.
Sean Dyche’s Everton have been busy in the summer transfer window as the club hope to steer clear of relegation trouble under the former Burnley manager.
Everton sold Amadou Onana to Aston Villa earlier this summer for £50 million and the Toffees have signed Tim Iroegbunam from the Midlands club.
As well as this, Everton have also signed winger Jesper Lindstrom from Napoli with the Swedish ace being one of the more exciting signings this summer.
According to reports, Everton may not be done there.

Everton keen on Sparta Prague right-back Angelo Preciado
Everton are reportedly keen on adding a new right-back to their team this summer and have settled on Sparta Prague right-back Angelo Preciado, according to reports.
That’s at least according to IDNES, who cover the player’s future today and the Toffees ongoing attempts to get him causing problems.
Sparta are reportedly having to make a decision on a host of players as they are unsure whether to keep them or monetise them by selling these players on this summer and Preciado is reportedly one of these players they’re unsure of.
Preciado is reportedly not showing his best form and becoming distracted by the speculation. The newspaper says, ‘he seems distracted’ and is ‘clearly mulling over a move’, something IDNES don’t see as surprising as they say Everton are ‘luring him’ to the Premier League.
The right-back has been described as ‘unpredictable’ by the newspaper due to the current transfer speculation seems to be affecting his performances.
What would Everton be getting in Preciado
The 26-year-old Ecuadorian made 28 appearances for Sparta Prague last season, scoring three times and providing six assists for the Czech side.
During the World Cup back in 2022, Preciado featured for the South American side and impressed against Qatar as a wing-back.
A deal with the Toffees would be a ‘great transfer’ for Sparta because they know Premier League sides ‘pay royally’. It will now be down to Everton to see if they will make a move for the Ecuadorian.
The links to Everton have certainly not been solid so perhaps this is an attempt from Sparta to generate interest in the defender.
Everton also wanted Kalvin Phillips this summer but Ipswich Town have won the race for the Englishman. It does seem as if a new right-back will be a priority.
