Viral England fan Oliver Henry has now shared his thoughts after visiting a barbecue restaurant in Texas.

Henry, who initially travelled to the USA just to watch a World Cup group game, has stuck around in the USA for the last month, and he’s had some once-in-a-lifetime experiences, including meeting Donald Trump and being invited to tour the West Wing of the White House.

Now, he has visited what is said to be the number one barbecue restaurant in Texas and loved it.

English soccer fan just had ‘the best food’ of his life in America

Henry shared his experience on Instagram, and he had very high praise for the food he tried.

In the caption of the post, he described it as ‘the best food I have ever had in my life’, adding that he ‘can’t describe how great it was’.

Henry stated: “It’s going to be hard to go back to beans on toast after this. It really is the best food I have ever had in my life.

“As I say I wish I could have recorded it more, but I was just in the moment and forgot to record. Everything was just super tender and juicy. I can’t describe how great it was.”

Like Henry, another England fan has already praised American BBQ this summer when visiting the United States for the World Cup.

The fan in question, offering a similar verdict, said: “I had Texas BBQ yesterday, I had a lovely bit of brisket.

“Picked it up, put the sauce on it, dropped it in my mouth, melted in my mouth. It was absolutely beautiful. It’s the best beef I’ve ever had in my life.”

It is fair to say that BBQ in America is going down well with several of the travelling fans.
