Premier League quintet Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur have all been offered the chance to sign Brazil international Gleison Bremer from Serie A giants Juventus – though any deal would likely cost over £50 million.
EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
HITC Football understands that, despite only signing a new contract at the Allianz Stadium back in December, there is a very real possibility that a man who made the switch from Turin to city rivals Juventus back in 2022 could be on the move again after just two seasons with the Bianconeri.
Five of the biggest and most deep-pocketed clubs in the Premier League have been contacted, via intermediaries, about the possibility of a summer move to England.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle and Tottenham have all been made aware of Gleison Bremer’s potential availability.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United offered Bremer chance
Bremer, HITC have been informed, is keen on a fresh start on UK soil.
But with the release clause in his contract understood to be in excess of £50 million – and with none of the aforementioned quintet confirming their interest as of yet – there is still a long way to go before Bremer can even consider packing his bags.
Bremer, capped three times by Brazil, has spent the last six years in Italy. He was named Serie A’s Defender of the Year in 2022. He’s also twice been included in the league’s Team of the Season.
“Bremer was shockingly good at Torino,” CBS Sports’ Serie A expert Matteo Bonetti wrote on X back in 2022 of a man who shot to fame while keeping Romelu Lukaku quiet during the Belgian’s Inter Milan heyday.
“My goodness, some of the games he had against the top strikers in the league… (Bremer) genuinely looks world class.”
‘World-class’
There is a feeling in some quarters, however, that Bremer’s development has stalled since making the short trip from Torino to Juve.
And with no shortage of rising defensive talents on the market, those Premier League giants may instead look to prioritise younger options instead of a man who will turn 28 in May.
Liverpool, HITC understands, are prioritising a left-sided centre-half rather than a right-footer like Bremer. Piero Hincapie (Bayer Leverkusen), Levi Colwill (Chelsea), Goncalo Inacio (Sporting Lisbon) and Feyenoord’s Liverpool-supporting Eredivisie champion David Hancko are all under consideration.
Tottenham, meanwhile, have plenty of defensive depth at their disposal these days. HITC Football understands that Spurs are looking at reinforcements in midfield and up top, with Wolves’ Joao Gomes, RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Brentford’s wantaway striker Ivan Toney on the radar.
