Manchester United are looking for a new striker and are keen on bringing Harry Kane to Old Trafford.

Harry Kane joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023 and, to no one’s surprise, has been superb for the German giants.

The England international striker has scored 36 goals and given 11 assists in 34 matches in all competitions for Bayern this season.

HITC revealed in February that Manchester United want to sign a striker in the summer transfer window. Minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, INEOS and Sir Dave Brailsford see Kane as the ideal option. After all, the Englishman scored 213 goals and gave 46 assists in 320 appearances in the Premier League.

Gabriel Agbonlahor praises Manchester United target Harry Kane

Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor rates Kane highly. While discussing Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, he said that the ex-Spurs star is the best finisher in the world at the moment.

The talkSPORT pundit has noted how natural Kane is in his finishing.

Agbonlahor said on talkSPORT: “It’s a bit of lack of composure, and some players are born with it, a natural finisher.

“The best finisher in the world at the moment is Harry Kane. Look at his goals, goals record in England. Harry Kane was still scoring goals when he was 22, his finishing.

“He has naturally got that finish, Jermain Defoe, players like that. Benty was an outstanding finisher, running through one-v-one, you would back him.”

My View: Harry Kane would be a brilliant signing for Manchester United

In my opinion, Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane would be a superb signing for Manchester United.

I think that Kane would be one of the best signings for United in recent years. He is a world-class striker and would immediately make Erik ten Hag’s side a very potent team.

United have scored just 39 goals in the Premier League this season. Arsenal, who are at the top of the table, have found the back of the net 70 times in the league.

Newcastle United are seven points behind the Red Devils, and they have scored way more (59). Luton Town, who are third from bottom have scored just a goal fewer than Ten Hag’s side, while Brentford in 15th have scored one more.

Rasmus Hojlund is only 21, and while he has been scoring goals for fun in the Premier League lately, we have to consider that being a young player means that he will have some bad spells.

Kane is 30 now and is at the top of his game. I think that the £480,000-a-week (The Athletic) striker would make United a far more threatening team than they are at the moment.
